Kim Roerig

Kim has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2010. Her passion for the field started at a young age after seeing her grandfather’s recovery following a stroke. She pursued her interests at the University of Wisconsin prior to completing a master’s in adult medical speech pathology at the University of Washington. While initially her interests leaned towards voice disorders and accent modification, it was during her master’s program that she gained passion and experience working with swallowing impairments, vocal cord dysfunction, and cognitive-communication therapy.

Kim hails from the Midwest and dreamed that someday she would live near the mountains and by water. While living in Seattle, she met a tall, dark, and handsome soul who introduced her to central Oregon. She and her husband have two young children who are avid skiers, cyclists, and campers just like their parents.

Areas of Specialty

While her career started in the hospital setting including a long-term trach and vent unit, following her move to Bend, Kim began to work outpatient, home health and hospital settings with pediatrics through adults. She is certified in Vital-Stim and SPEAK OUT!® therapy techniques.
