Alison Chapman

M.S. CCC-SLP

Alison has been working as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist since 2013. She completed her training in Communication Disorders and Sciences at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She came to Central Oregon during graduate school to complete her medical and school-based externships. In 2013, she received her master’s degree from the University of Oregon.

Alison is a native Oregonian and loves the outdoor opportunities here in the drier, central part of the state. She and her husband, Jacob, and their son Bennett, spend their weekend hours hiking in nearby forests, cross-country skiing in the mountains, biking the best trails, and simply exploring with their dog, Taylor.

Areas of Specialty

Alison is certified by both the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Oregon Speech Board. She has work experience in public schools, outpatient medical services, and in private clinical services. She is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and cognitive disorders in a wide variety of pediatric and adult populations. Alison has a special interest in using alternative augmentative communication (AAC) to supplement and support speech/language impairments.
